We are seeking an Human Resources/Administrative Assistant  to join our team and support our HR department in various administrative and operational tasks. The Human Resources/Administrative Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the HR department. This position requires a detail-oriented and organized individual who can efficiently handle various administrative responsibilities, assist with recruitment efforts, maintain employee records, and contribute to the overall success of the HR team.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist in posting job openings on various job boards and company career pages.
  • Screen resumes and applications, schedule interviews, and communicate with candidates.
  • Coordinate new employee onboarding, including paperwork, orientation, and training schedules.
  • Assist in conducting background checks and verifying references.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, both physical and electronic.
  • Process HR-related paperwork, such as employment contracts, offer letters, and termination documentation.
  • Assist in benefits administration, enrollment, and support employee inquiries.
  • Manage HR department calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate interviews.
  • Prepare and distribute HR-related communications and announcements.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide information or guidance as needed.
  • Handle various ad-hoc HR projects as assigned.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive HR information with discretion.
  • Contribute to the overall positive and collaborative culture within the HR department and the company.

Skills and Experience You Possess

  • Prior experience in HR administrative roles REQUIRED
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HR software (e.g., HRIS, ATS).
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
