Supply Chain Analyst

Position Summary:

Responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and improving our demand forecasts to support strategic purchasing for manufacturing materials, ranging from raw materials, commodities, to miscellaneous parts and pieces to produce whole assembled products and provide expertise in the development of demand-planning systems and processes.

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with operations to define and execute the forecast strategy for materials
  • Supports ongoing and future projects via routine purchasing and forecasting processes
  • Support the design and implementation of Supply chain solutions
  • Identify cost savings opportunities and efficiencies
  • Conduct reoccurring analysis to drive cost savings
  • Examine current processes and recommend improvements to lessen waste and/or inefficiencies
  • Supports vendor collaboration
  • Provides key performance indicator (KPI) reporting to various operational leadership.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a supply chain analyst, logistic, ability to work cross-functionally and independently
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration, or 5 years supply chain experience
  • Ability to deliver expected quantitative and qualitative results
  • Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail, comfortable with figures and in collecting, analyzing and interpreting data
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management and relevant software is a must, ERP (enterprise resource planning), Sage, JDE, etc.

Physical Demands:

  • Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; occasionally use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
