Corporate Catering Server

Conceptually Social Catering is looking for a Corporate Server to join their team full time!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Apply safe Food Handling and Sanitation practices when preparing, handling, serving and storing consumable items
  • Keep accurate daily information, such as temperature logs, when required by client
  • Light dishwashing onsite
  • Keeping onsite equipment, fridges and preparation areas clean and organized
  • Replenish buffet and food stations and make sure they continue to look plentiful and are stocked with appropriate plate and flatware (some clients also require, servers to stand station and server appropriate portions to their guests)
  • Maintains a working environment that is set up for success, by properly setting up and breaking down event space, keep onsite supplies stocked, completing daily side work & cleaning duties, and communicate any items needed for the next shift
  • Help pack carts, cambros and crates with items needed for offsite event, and double checking to make sure this is done properly with all menu items present
  • Help pack catering vehicle(s), transport and set up event
  • Communicate consistently throughout the shift, with the other servers regarding and needs for your station, or to offer assistance when necessary
  • Properly checking guest ID’s, when a guest orders alcohol, and serve alcoholic drinks legally as outlined by Arizona liquor laws (some events require serving alcohol)
  • Obtain full knowledge of “today’s” menu, so you can accurately give dietary and allergy information to guest
  • Create an appropriate environment for guests, so they have a great experience, based on the type of event
  • Immediately communicate any issues to managers and/or chefs

Job Requirements:

  • 19 years or older
  • Food handling card or certification through approved organization, and ability to apply that knowledge by way of proper food handling
  • Liquor Certification through approved organization, and proficient in checking guest ID’s and serving liquor legally and responsibly
  • 2 Years services experience in a restaurant, hotel or catering environment
  • Strong communication skills in a highly social environment
  • Able to lift and move 50 pounds
  • Able to sustain working long hours on your feet
  • Should have reliable transportation to get to scheduled shifts and locations on time
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
  • Ability to easily adapt to a new settings and new team members
  • Can follow directives and instructions, on the spot, during busy times
  • Outgoing high energy personality
  • Ability to communicate accurate information and needs peers and managers
  • Is problem and solution orientated
  • Has attention to detail
  • Ability to work quickly, efficiently, neatly both independently and within a team
  • Skilled in organization and time management skills
  • Have driver’s license, insurance and ability to drive legally (This position requires transporting to offsite professional business locations)
