Our client, a well-known brand in women's fashion, is currently seeking candidates for a position. Ecommerce Planner is responsible for managing & developing analytic skills and programs to measure and optimize every aspect of the Ecommerce business. This individual must have strong analytical skills and the ability to perform strategic research in order to manage our business forecasting and reporting activities.

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage Ecommerce demand and forecasting for the company as well as other drop-ship channels.
  • Support Director of Ecommerce in planning optimal inventory level by month, quarter, and season.
  • Analyze product categories on an on-going basis to ensure all product variables are optimized: sizes, colorways, extended sizes, etc. 
  • Create and maintain daily/weekly/monthly Demand, Returns, Shipped Sales, Gross Sales, and Net Sales budgets and forecasts for management review.
  • Analyze business needs and trends as well as provide ad hoc analysis.
  • Highlight product opportunities in-season and advocate for product development ideas. 
  • Inspect landing pages, product information, checkout options, and all other pertinent website-related systems to ensure their visual appeal, accuracy, and ease of use.
  • Assist with decisions about pricing such as discounted offers, and affordable bulk packages.
  • Monitor backorder levels, pre-order, cancellations and returns.
  • Forecast the impact of promotional activity on business and provide scenarios when needed.
  • Communicate forecasted daily units with Shipping department/distribution center and Marketing to support payroll decisions and future marketing materials. 
  • Monitor daily drop ship performance to ensure all orders are flowing properly and each channel has adequate inventory.
  • Provide insight to digital marketing, analytics and merchandising teams based off data.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Prior retail and or merchandise planning experience (2-3 years).
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Familiarity and experience with Key Performance Indicators relevant to Ecommerce and a general understanding of marketing channels.  
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized within a fast paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Experience with Shopify, Google docs, EDI.
  • Strong quantitative analysis skills and advanced Excel skills a must.
  • Effective time management and ability to stay organized.
Occasional travel to the corporate office in Los Angeles is required.
